Shiba Inu Team Member Reveals Estimated Timeline for Shibarium Mainnet Launch

A Shiba Inu team member reveals the estimated timeline for the Shibarium mainnet launch in an elaborate attempt to address the prevalent uncertainty.

LUCIE, a prominent Shiba Inu (SHIB) community influencer and a member of the SHIB marketing team, recently took to Twitter to share insights and predictions regarding the highly anticipated mainnet launch of Shibarium, the upcoming layer-2 scaling solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. 

In an attempt to address the persistent speculation and questions surrounding the launch date, LUCIE provided valuable information about the estimated timeline and emphasized the team’s commitment to delivering a secure and sustainable platform.

LUCIE’s personal estimate aligns with that of Shytoshi Kusama, the community-appointed Shiba Inu project lead, who forecasted a July launch. However, Shibarium1, an anonymous yet prominent Shibarium developer, made a projection of August. 

Yesterday, @shibarium_ guessed that the launch of the mainnet would be in August, while my guess is for Q3 and @ShytoshiKusama guessed July.

Based on these inputs, LUCIE clarified that the team’s official estimate for the Shibarium mainnet launch is set for the second to the third quarter of 2023. “Stop saying you don’t have an estimated time. You do!!! Q2  -Q3 2023,” she emphasized in an attempt to address the prevailing uncertainty.

According to LUCIE, the Shiba Inu development team is confident about the progress of Shibarium, with multiple dedicated teams working on its development, including a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) integration.

This statement aimed to clarify and discourage the spread of inaccurate information among Shiba Inu enthusiasts regarding the launch date. However, LUCIE also acknowledged that unforeseen complications during the testing phase could potentially extend the timeline. 

Shibarium Developer Confirms Launch

Moreover, Shibarium1, who made a projection of August, recently disclosed that the launch was closer than the community expects, as The Crypto Basic previously reported.

In a Discord chat, the admin noted that things were going fine with the development process and that the teams were accelerating the release time. He added that they have not encountered any issues yet within the testing stages. 

Ultimately, as Shiba Inu’s popularity continues to soar, the successful rollout of Shibarium is crucial for further growth and development. The crypto community eagerly awaits the launch of Shibarium as it promises advanced DeFi capabilities, especially for Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens.
